L’Oréal and UNESCO joined forces in 2010 to fight the spread and impact of AIDS by means of a program targeted at hairdressing professionals around the world. The idea is to mobilize the network of L’Oréal trainers to raise awareness about HIV by providing clear information about the virus and encourage hairdressers to pass the message to their customers. The Hairdressers against Aids program has been rolled out in 30 countries.
