Absolutely love it!

I recently tried L'Oreal's Absolut Instant Resurfacing Shampoo and was impressed with the results. After just one use, my hair felt noticeably smoother and looked shinier. I also appreciated that the shampoo lathered well and had a pleasant, subtle scent.
What I love most about this shampoo is that it delivers on its promise of instant resurfacing. My hair felt less dry and damaged after just one wash, and continued to improve with regular use. I also appreciated that it was gentle enough for daily use and didn't strip my hair of its natural oils.

Silicones and Protein

too much bad silicones such as dimethicone (bad bad) plus amodimethicone. First few ingredients. Plus too much proteins, wheat, corn, and soy. Other copolymers too! This shampoo ruined my scalp and hair. plastic coating plus over proteinized hair - and clearly didn’t need any strengthening ingredients. Like straw and stiff. Not for fine, thick non colored hair or healthy for any hair. Wake up Loreal and Kerastase! your chemists can do better and healthier!!’n

Best Shampoo

I have tried so many shampoos and this is the only one that works and helps my bleached hair. Pureology sheer hydrate ruined my hair and scalp burned so bad. I'm so grateful for this Loreal shampoo and that I can purchase it at Sephora.
Yes, I recommend this product.

L'Oreal Professionnel
Hello Katt. Thank you for reaching out about Absolut Repair Shampoo. Silicones are used in some cosmetic products due to their unique sensory benefits and properties, such as long-lasting effect in lipstick. They also provide shine and softness in shampoo and other hair care products.
The silicones we use allow us to achieve a wide range of textures and a high level of product performance, especially in terms of shine and lightness. Scientific evidence does not suggest that hair products containing silicones have a negative impact on scalp health (greasing or other undesirable effect), nor are they comedogenic. As with every fatty acid from mineral or natural origin, the silicones are non-comedogenic when used in an appropriate dose in cosmetic products.
To identify silicones in our products, look at the ingredients list on the packaging. They can be found under names such as DIMETHICONE, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, DIMETHICONOL, PHENYL TRIMETHICONE, AMODIMETHICONE, and CYCLOMETHICONE.

Worked on my bleached fried hair!!
I found a small bottle of this Shampoo at the store. I had bleached my hair a week ago and it was fried. After just one use, I could actually comb through it. Im impressed and so happy I made the choice to buy it. I will be buying the bigger Shampoo&Conditioner soon. Thanks Loreal :)
