Best straightener ever it leaves my hair silky and nice i love it Soo much because my hair gets curly or really humid with different weather but this straightener it doesn't leave it as before now i can have my hair super straight no matter what !

I was super excited about being chose by Influenster and Sephora to try L'oreal Steampod for my honest review! I always use and recommend always using a Heat protector when using any kind of flat iron hair dryers or any sources heat on your hair to protect it! L'oreal Steampod left my hair perfectly straight, super smooth,shiney n best of all non-frizzy! I think that the price is a little crazy and I'd say it's a little bit out of range for most people.. but it does work exactly as described if you want straight hair this will do it!!!

I have been trying this straightner since I received it. I wasn't sure about it at first, but the more I used it the more I started loving it and also the results!! I have wavy very frizzy hair. I love the comb in this iron! I usually use a t3 iron but this makes my hair straight and smooth with less passes than my t3. Great product!

This straightener is so good! It’s genius! I love the design, it’s lightweight and easy to use. I love the comb that keeps your hair smooth. The steam straightens my hair so fast and so gentle. It doesn’t make my hair too hot to touch. My hair looks shiny and smooth. This is my go to straightener now. I have tried to curl my hair with it but haven’t quite figured that out. But I love it!

I’m really digging this straightener. I’ve been using it every couple days since I received it to give a good review. It’s funny because the straightener I was using before, was actually one I received as an Amazon product tester. I really thought I loved it, but compared to how my hair feels right now, it’s so much healthier. I haven’t gotten a trim or changed anything except the steam pod and I love it! There’s a bit of a learning curve, and you have to figure out your grip. Some parts of your hair you’ll have to squeeze tighter than the other. I also think the comb attachment is more for curlier hair. Someone told me you could remove it and it changed the game! With it on, I had a problem with adding crimps to my hair.

When I got the email about getting this bad boy I was super excited about it. I was pretty scared to use it since my hair is green and black. I thought it would fade the color faster. It didn’t. You definitely need to use a heat spray. If you don’t use one it will definitely fry your hair. It helps with frizz. I wish the temperature could go down a little more. Other than that I’d definitely recommend this.

My hair is naturally curly and wavy and this Steampod makes my hair very straight and shiny. It is easy to use which is a plus. I really like the comb that can be attached and detached in, which helps me straighten my hair on my own with no help. This product met my expectations. You won’t regret giving this Steampod a chance it’s well worth it!

When trying out this product I was skeptically at first. I wasn’t sure how steam would straighten my hair when most of the time my hair is exposed to steam it gets frizzy and big. It actually works! It made it smooth without so much heat. Another thing I like is that the comb is removable. I found that my hair would get stuck on it. It curls nicely too. Overall, I really think this is a win for L’Oréal.

I am quite impressed with this straightener. I have used many in the past that were just meh. This one takes the cake for me! I haven’t mastered the curl portion but that is all me and I will eventually! It didn’t feel as if it was “burning” my hair and love the idea of utilizing steam. Really easy to use and only one stroke required for each pass. Hair seems happy and I am too! I received this as a tester from Influenster and L’Oreal and I am thankful I did! I would purchase this in a heartbeat. I have thicker hair and it leaves it very straight and feels healthy!

I received this straightener for my honest review. I have frizzy, color treated hair so I am often skeptical of heat products. This straightener is pretty good. I couldn’t get it to curl the best, but the straightener is good. I did take off the comb Bc I found it just didn’t work the best with my hair. It’s a good product and I think people would really enjoy it.

I really liked the steam pod . My daughter and I have very dry hair 4b-c hair and the steam pod made our hair feel really soft and kept hydration . It was a bit heavy or bulky so I was unable to get really close to the root of my hair but I think it would be great to maintain my salon blow out without damage. I definitely would recommend this straightener for anyone trying to have healthier hair .

I tried the steampod on both my thick, wavy to curly color treated and bleached hair and let my mom borrow it on her fine to normal highlighted hair. I tried it without the comb on my hair and added my cantu heat protectant before styling and used distilled water. It took 2 passes for my hair to be fully straight and I ended up adding a little volume to the top of my hair on the 2nd pass as it looked a little too flat. My hair stayed straight for about 2 full days before reverting back. I've tried doing a bit of a blowout with mixed results and have yet to achieve curls. As for the water chamber after 2 full passes it was a little past half full . It is easy to remove and reattach the comb, the heat settings and on and off switch are easy to navigate. My only complaint is that it is a tad bulky and can be hard to hold for an extended time. As for thin hair it does very well on the lowest setting with heat protectant and with short passes.

Very impressed with this product. It definitely did its job. It left my hair looking smooth and feeling soft. Usually my hair is frizzy even after styling it which can be annoying. This product didn’t leave my hair frizzy and gave it volume.

I have naturally curly hair and this makes straightening my hair so easy. It also keeps my hair straight and takes the frizz out of my hair.

Works pretty well to straighten and curl ! I used bottled Poland spring because I didn’t have distilled water, set it to 410 degrees, grabbed small amounts of hair at a time and spent about 4-5 secs on each strand. Even though my hair is pretty straight already I noticed the difference. I was able to achieve some bouncy curls, although not consistent (prob having to do with my technique and lack of skill). No issues with hairs getting caught in the comb as long as I followed the direction of the arrows. Overall a decent 2 in 1 hair tool

I was so excited to use this and it did not disappoint. My hair is wavy, frizzy and very fine. I’m never able to get my hair total straight with flat irons, there’s always a few waves at the roots and in the back of my head plus it’s always frizzy. The steam pod gets my hair completely straight and it’s a sleek straight without the frizz. It’s great for adding volume and waves as well. I highly recommend!

I was very excited to receive this, even though I wasn't looking for a new straightener. It was a great little surprise! My hair is naturally pretty straight with odd patches of waves and lately if I let it air dry, it's really frizzy. Normally I dry it with a dryer brush and a little smoothing cream, and that takes care of the frizz. And if I want the weird wavy sections to behave, I'll run a flat iron through it. Now, with the steampod I don't even use the cream and my hair is silky smooth and straight all day. It holds up to the Arkansas humidity so far, too. I'll update if that changes as the summer comes and the humidity get worse lol! It was a little awkward at first and took a little while to get used to using it because you're supposed to hold it a certain way, but now its pretty much second nature. I don't know how well this works for people with really curly or coarse hair, but it's perfect for my slightly weird hair that can't seem to make up its mind!

I didn’t think this was going to work for me since my hair doesn’t do well with humidity. This product worked really well. I prefer to blow dry my hair over flat iron but if I need to do it while traveling for example I would take this.

I have fine hair that is also very wavy. With lots of baby hairs that won’t stay in place and a good amount of breakage. It’s a lot to deal with. I received the steam pod pro and it took a minute to get used to. It’s a little bulky and heavier than the one I’m used to. But once I got used to it this was amazing! So i had to learn how to section my hair and go slow at first but by now it easily takes me just a few minutes to get everything just right! My baby hairs are still hard to get but I used the heat from the outside of the straightener and it looks great. This was better than the previous straighteners I’ve used in the past. And there was definitely less breakage. My hair was smooth and shiney. I feel like it is with the price. There are no buttons to press for the steam and I could style it too! Again it took a little getting used to. A little heavy but I feel it is worth it. Also even though it says not to use on wet hair. I did. It was HOT. It took a little longer and I don’t recommend it. But it did still look good. There is also no way to turn the steam off if you wanted that option besides pulling out the well. Overall a really great product!

Absolutely great flat iron. Only reason I gave 4 stars - size of plates. I have a lot of baby hair around forehead and plates of iron tool are too wide to straighten this ares. Other than that I really like L’Oréal steam pod hair iron. Using this tool couple times a week and my heat looks great, feels great. At the beginning I was not sure if hair styling tool with steam going to be safe for hair and skin, but not I definitely see that it’s safe if you follow guidelines about how to use straightener properly. My hair is thick and wavy and I use this tool at lowest temperature 350F and it takes me 5-7 minutes to style my hair. Definitely great product.

I loved how fast this straightener worked! Definitely good for when I’m in a rush. The comb makes it really easy to straighten your roots if you have naturally curly or wavey hair. The two caveats are that it leaves my hair with a very distinct “wet dog” smell no matter how clean my hair is or how much heat protector I use, and the comb attached to the end is really fine and rips out a lot of my wavey hair. I’d only recommend straightening in small sections to avoid that problem, but the smell I haven’t quite figured out yet.

I was very weary of this product at first bc of the steam aspect... it gave me flashbacks and ptsd of the wet 2 straight straighteners from the 2000’s lol I was very impressed though, the steam is very minimal. I’m still trying to get the curling down with it, because I’m just not good at curling with a straightener. The pieces I have curled with it have come out nice and wavy though! I say I’m neutral because while it is a wonderful product, it won’t replace my go to straightener and curling wand.

I love the concept of the L’Oréal Professionnel SteamPod using steam to be less damaging on your hair! I naturally have very pin straight, fine hair so I was interested in using this product as more of a styling tool to curl my hair. Although this product did leave my hair looking smooth and healthy I found it difficult to maneuver in order to achieve the loose waves I was hoping for. Since my hair is so fine it dents / creases easily and I was running into that issue a lot BUT I am fairly certain that is due to user error not a flaw with the product itself. I typically use a wand to curl my hair so I think I just need to keep working on my technique of using a flat iron for curls??

First thing that caught my attention was this product was from Rowenta (makers of the best clothing irons on earth) and L’Oreal (makers of some of the best beauty products on earth). And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. I have very long and curly hair and I’ve always used CHI straightening irons exclusively my entire life. I don’t straight iron my hair very often because I usually must blow dry it straight first with a round brush and then section by section iron it out. It is a double dose of heat and a long time to do it. Two things I’m not fond of. Using this steam iron cut all of that down to less than 15 minutes flat. I was able to iron huge sections of hair and honestly could have done it even quicker than that. But for my first time using it, it was amazing! My hair was so soft and straight. It wasn’t flat to my head either. I actually air dried my hair from washing it and then went to town. I am absolutely amazed. I used a heat protectant spray and also some heat protectant serum on the ends, which I would definitely recommend. I used Redken as they are my favorite right now. I’m attaching before and after pictures but I wish I would have videoed to show just how quick the whole process was as well as my excited and shocked reaction! I highly recommend this to anyone out there who likes their hair straight and silky quickly!

Great for medium to thick hair, I would stay away from fine. It’s a bit heavy to handle I couldn’t figure out how to do the wave. I will say it will straighten your hair extremely fast

This styler definitely did a lot better than I thought it would. I was a little nervous when I saw that it was steam but it leaves your hair pretty sleek and straight and I have pretty wavy hair! If you are tender headed then I would definitely not recommend this product, as it has built in combs and definitely pulls on your hair! Overall this product worked pretty good!
