Polarizing scent that lingers.

I was excited to try this shampoo based on its curl-friendly formula and positive reviews, not to mention the large value size and the fact that it’s professional grade. However, just like a handful of other people out there, I find the scent overwhelming and persistent. It lingers and gets everywhere, it reminds me of a very strong sweet woody perfume and to me, it smells masculine. I am one of those people who like their shampoo smells to stop smelling after the shower, so this heavily scented product is not for me. The strong woody smell just stays and stays.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Smells beautiful, left my hair feeling moisturized! My son also has curly hair and his gets dry quickly. This helped provide the moisture he needed and also brought his curls back to life!

May Convert from Current Line!

I absolutely love this cleansing cream. It left my hair feeling cleaner than any cleansing cream I've used without the build up feeling that occurs with other lines. The design of the bottle is another plus for me. The pump is so much easier to manage than the flip top of my current brand. The only thing that may prevent me from switching is I'm not sold on the masque.

Better off with buying drugstore

Theres nothing about this formula that makes it high end or curl specific. Does it have cleansers that are less harsh than others? Sure. But does it have the coating agent silicone, that initially makes hair feel soft, but over time dries it out? Yep. Does it also have a lot of unnecessary thickening agents and other unnecessary additives? Another yep. With so many great curl lines out there, dont waste time or money on this. I gave it 2 stars because itll at least cleanse any hair type, just like Suave or any other drugstore brand.

Absolutely loved this shampoo! It left my hair feeling clean and hydrated!!! My hair felt moistures but wasn't weighed down or left feeling greasy! I personally thought the scent was strong, and not my personal style, but not offensive at all. Highly recommend

Not what I expected

The Cleansing Cream was definitely not what I was expecting from a Co-Wash, but it finally replaced my discontinued holy grail! I wasn't expecting a more runny consistency or a lather, but it worked so well and left my hair so soft and clean. The Mask also did wonders. I was able to keep wash days more spaced out and keep styles longer with how these products help lock in moisture

I know it doesn't affect the results, but my goodness does this smell so GOOD!! The smell did linger on my hands for a while after use. Or maybe it was on my sleeves so good thing it was such a pleasant smell. I do like the product. Every clients' curls have looked wonderful after use. Unfortunately I can't speak to long term use. I do recommend the shampoo thus far tho!

It says 'moisturizing cleansing conditioner' but this is neither moisturizing or a co-wash. This is more of a weekly detox shampoo, but i'm personally not a huge fan. It stripped my curls and made them squeaky. i might use this after i run out of my Olaplex No. 4 weekly shampoo after it runs out.

Amazing texture of the product and it smells great. I used this on a client that has 4A curl type. Compared to other products I've tried I don't have to use as much; a little goes a long way. Hair feels softer, and moisturized. The best part is it really makes curls pop. I definitely would recommend to anyone with naturally curly hair.

I have been pleasantly surprised with the loreal products! Shampoo: you need a small amount of the product to clean hair well, does not leave hair tangled and rinses well. Hair is shiny and well moisturized afterwards. Hair feels as if you had just applied conditioner or hair mask and well moisturized. Only concern is the urea H which is known to be a formaldehyde releaser. The product smells good a bit strong, but not overpowering.

This stuff is amazing! Honestly this entire line is amazing! I wasn't sure what to expect when Loreal came out with a curl line and honestly they never disappoint! High quality, high performing, soft touchable curls! So so happy I stocked up for the salon!

I have naturally curly hair and have been using some other professional brands and enjoyed. I tried the professional curl shampoo and mask…WOW! After just the first use my hair had more defined curl and felt soft and had added shine. I have fine coils hair, however my top layer tends to be just wavy, this increased the curl on the top layer as well. It's not heavy and keeps my hair from being frizzy as well. Absolutely found my new favorite!

I tried the L'Oreal Professionnel Curl Expression Intense Moisturizing Cleansing Cream Shampoo & Intensive Moisturizer Mask, well the first thing I noticed was the smell of the products they both smell amazing. And then I tried them and my hair was very tangled but it smelled good and my hair felt a little heavier than normal and my curls weren't all there like they normally are. This wasn't for my hair. It can be for someone's hair tho.

Used the shampoo and moisture mask on my hair a few times. Over all, a good product. It helped keep my curls under control. The mask feels like it leaves a coating on the hair. My texture is on the fine side but I have a ton. Didn't affect the hair but just feels like I can't get it rinsed out all the way.

As soon as I pumped the L'Oréal curl expression intense moisturizing cleansing cream shampoo I could feel the creamy texture which I love in a shampoo. It's usually a good sign that it is going to give my hair a lot of moisture. It also smelled nice. I loved the lather! I find sometimes with shampoos that I have to use more to get it to lather and with this there was not a problem at all. It did a great job cleansing my hair. After blow drying my hair felt a lot less dry and put the bounce back into my curls!

L'Oreal Professionnel Curl Expression Intense Moisturizing Cleansing Cream Shampoo stands out just like most of the L'Oreal professional products do. The packaging is always great. The smell is so good and the moisture level is amazing. Sulfate and silicone free, this Shampoo leaves curls feeling manageable, bouncy, and lightweight with full hydration. The texture is super creamy and works into a lather easily. Detangling after washing is a breeze and the hair never feels weighed down. Definitely will be a curly hair staple here!
